Now that you’re all set, it’s time for the finishing touches.
- Call your wedding florist and ask for updates. Do they have difficulties outsourcing the flowers you want? Will the flowers be available on your wedding day? Make sure there are no problems and work out any that you discover.
- Mail all your wedding invites.
- Your wedding dress should be ready for fitting by now. Try it on and make sure you can walk, sit, and breathe comfortably in it. When trying on your dress, consider how you plan on wearing it for your wedding: is it okay to have your hair done before you wear the gown? Or will it be difficult to wear the gown after your hair is all done? Is the dress the right length for the shoes you are wearing? Or will you need new shoes or have the length of your gown adjusted?
- Decide on what accessories to wear, such as earrings, bags, gloves, etc. Have your entourage fit on their dresses as well.

- Ask your other service providers if there are any issues. Is the wedding cake going to be ready in time? Where and when will the photographer meet with you during the wedding? What time should the musicians start preparing? Do they have passes to set up before anybody else gets there, or do they have to meet with someone before they can start preparing their equipment?
- Decide on what your transportation will be. Don’t forget to plan for your entourage as well. Will they be using their own cars, or will you need to rent or borrow cars for them?
- Have your wedding announcement published in the newspaper. What kind of announcement would you prefer, short but sweet or lengthy and elaborate?
- Make necessary plans about living arrangements once you and your partner are married. Do you have any plans of purchasing a new house or are you moving into his?
- Prepare a seating arrangement for the reception. Make sure you seat friends and family together. Organizing the seating arrangement involves strategy and cunning; make sure that brawling relatives are not seated together.
